What to expect at the procedure and how it all works
Our latest-generation diode laser emits light that is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair.
When the hair is darker than the surrounding skin, it absorbs the light energy. This principle is called selective photothermolysis.
The laser energy is attracted to the hair pigment much as sunlight is attracted to dark clothing.
This light energy turns into heat, which destroys both the hair shaft and the follicle while leaving the skin intact. The hair's ability to grow is suppressed.
Unfortunately human physiology does not let us get rid of hair in one session.
Hair grows in cycles in everyone, and when you come, about 50% of your hair will be in the right phase. And not all of it contains enough pigment.
The surviving hair will return, but it is usually weaker and finer in texture.
To recap, after a few sessions you will get rid of 30-50% of dark hair and 20-40% of light hair.

How should I prepare for the procedure?
— Avoid sun exposure for at least 2 weeks before and after the procedure. A tan increases the risk of burns and hyperpigmentation during laser treatment.
— Shave the area to be treated. Hair should be removed one to three days before the treatment, and only with shaving foam and a razor. Do not use electric shavers, epilators, depilators or shaving creams: they can damage the hair follicle that the laser targets.
— Wash off all make-up before the session.
— Avoid any sunscreens that darken your skin.
— Do not take a hot shower or bath, either before the procedure or right after it.
Can pregnant and breastfeeding mothers have hair removal?
Nobody has studied the effect of the laser on a baby. Whether it can harm the baby or not, nobody knows at present.
You will agree that it is sensible to postpone hair removal.
We will be happy to see you once you have stopped breastfeeding.
Does it hurt?
A laser pulse lasts only one trillionth of a second and does not damage the surrounding tissue.
You feel a slight tingling. In particularly sensitive areas such as the upper lip the procedure can be a little more painful.

How long does a session last?
A little fuzz on the chin or some hair above the lip can take 2-5 minutes, while the back of a man with thick skin takes a full 60 minutes.
How many sessions will I need?
Everyone's hair grows at a different rate: it depends on weight, age, metabolism, hormones, hair thickness and so on.
On average it is 3-5 sessions over a year.
The interval between sessions depends on the location of the hair: hair on the upper lip grows quickly, so sessions can be repeated every 4-8 weeks. On the back, on the contrary, it grows slowly and sessions can be done every 12-16 weeks.
On average 1 to 1.5 months should pass between sessions.
Can I have laser hair removal over a tattoo?
Are there any side effects?
The only things that may occur are slight redness and swelling. They pass within a few hours. In rare cases discomfort can last up to two days.
Is hair removed permanently?
Why not 100%?
No laser clinic can claim 100% hair removal, because regrowth can be affected by hormonal surges and other biological factors that we cannot control or even predict. But even the hair that does grow back will be much lighter and thinner than before.
